Research by Stacie Bosley, professor of economics, and colleagues Sarah Greenman, associate professor of criminology and criminal justice, Samantha Snyder Cakir, assistant professor of economics, and alumna Kiana Kotasek 鈥23 shows most MLM marketing lacks proper disclaimers, leading to inflated consumer expectations, and shows that government regulation is needed to protect participants.
