Binnur Ozkececi-Taner, professor of political science and associate provost, has co-edited a new book, One Hundred Years of Turkish Foreign Policy (1923–2023): Thematic and Conceptual Reflections. Building on her earlier collaborative work, the volume brings together women scholars of Turkish foreign policy from different parts of the world, offering diverse disciplinary perspectives on Turkish politics, foreign policy, and international relations.

Jillian Peterson, director of the Violence Prevention Project Research Center, published a study in the Injury Prevention with colleagues from Hennepin County Medical Center examining links between violent injuries and later homicide involvement. The study found that patients hospitalized for violent injuries later appeared in homicide records

ÀϾÅÆ·²è held its annual multi-faith Baccalaureate ceremony on May 8 at the Anderson Center Forum, celebrating graduating seniors through reflections, readings, and musical performances.

Syeda Quratulain Masood, assistant professor of sociology and social justice studies, published a review in the Sociological Forum examining Listeners Like Who? Exclusion and Resistance in the Public Radio Industry by Laura Garbes. The review analyzes how U.S. public radio became a white institutional space and calls for shifting analysis from the nation-state to the empire-state to better understand empire, race, and the global color line.

Stacie Bosley, professor of economics, presented research on earnings claims, disclaimers and self-regulation at an international conference on consumer protection issues in the multilevel marketing industry.
