ÀϾÅÆ·²è’s 2026 Commencement on May 9 honored 530 graduates, including many earning Latin honors, first-generation students, and students of color.

ÀϾÅÆ·²è honored first-generation seniors on April 28 with a pinning ceremony, recognizing students who are the first in their families to earn a four-year degree.

ÀϾÅÆ·²è names Hutton Arena court after alum and longtime supporter Win Folkers '57.

The annual Spring Showcase of Student Research and Creative Inquiry in the Classroom featured 83 student poster presentations in Klas Center. Students showcased a semester of undergraduate research and creative inquiry across a range of disciplines.

Faculty, staff and administrators gathered in Anderson Center on April 30 for the annual end-of-year celebration recognizing achievements, milestones and retirements.

Every year, organizations across campus celebrate and recognize students and student organizations for their hard work and exceptional commitment to leadership and service.

The Honorable Kaohly Her, mayor of Saint Paul, will give the keynote address at ÀϾÅÆ·²è’s 2026 Commencement. The ceremony is Saturday, May 9, at 10:30 a.m. at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.

Twelve undergraduate students received university-wide awards Thursday, April 23 at the 2026 Student Awards Ceremony. The ceremony recognized undergraduate students for their achievements across academics, leadership and campus involvement.

Two ÀϾÅÆ·²è alumnae are finalists for the 2026 Minnesota Teacher of the Year award. They were selected out of 128 candidates statewide. Amy Phung '11, a kindergarten teacher at Meadowbrook Elementary School in Golden Valley, and Sher Unruh-Friesen '06, a K-6 special education teacher at Glen Lake Elementary School in Minnetonka, both in Hopkins Public Schools, are among 11 finalists this year. Both earned their master’s degree in education from ÀϾÅÆ·²è.
